useful things

Phonevite

By Caroling Lee, TradeMark Media User Experience Director

Phonevite LogoPhonevite is an online service that allows you to record a single message that can be sent to large groups of people. Think of the times you’re trying to organize an event or making an announcement: now you can send out one message instead of calling everyone. It also saves on text messaging.

Cons: A Mac version hasn’t been released yet. It can’t call extensions, only direct lines. There is a short ad at the end if you have the free service, but it’s not so bad. I think it’s worth a try, especially since it’s FREE!

Mint.com

By Sarah Cox, TradeMark Media Account Manager

Mint.com logoMint.com is a free budget and expense tracking site that pulls in your financial info from your bank account. It’s anonymous, so Mint doesn’t have your name, address, SSN or any way to transfer money. It’ll help you see where you spend, set a budget, and track your spending so you can see if you’re meeting your goals. It also has an application available for those ubiquitous MP3-player-turned-phones.
