useful things

senduit

By Janis Gonser, TradeMark Media User Experience Director

SenduitI came across senduit.com at this year’s SXSW conference during one of the design and usability sessions as a demonstration of a Web application with high clarity (versus simplicity). Senduit lets you share files with a size of up to 100MB via a private link. You can set an expiration date for the link varying between 30 minutes and one week. That’s it! Try out some clarity with no costs attached to it.

Geni

By Jean Conover, TradeMark Media Business Development Director

Geni: everyone\'s relatedOne of the coolest Web sites I learned about at SXSW this year is geni.com. This is a Web application that allows you to create your family tree online. The site walks you though a painless process of putting in the names of relatives you know and also allows you to search for others in your family tree. You can upload images and video of your family, connect to them through Facebook from the site, see family statistics, and start discussions all from this central location. This is a great way to reconnect with relatives and start a living history of your family online.

Do you have something useful we should share?
Let us know about it and we'll post it along with your name and company name.

“Internet culture is the product of a lot of people looking for jobs.”
