Google Calendar and More

For those of you who have been using Outlook (Entourage) or Outlook Express to manage your calendars and contacts, you may want to check out Google’s new suite of products currently being called ‘Google Apps for Your Domain’ (aka Google Office) designed with the small business in mind. The suite includes email, calendar, chat, and web page publishing. The service is free and accessible on the Web (meaning no software to buy AND you can access your data from anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection). I’ve been playing with Google Calendar and, so far, I think it’s pretty capable of handling most calendar functions. It’s also shareable and publishable in case anyone else needs access as well.
