TinyURL will convert really long, ugly-looking Web addresses into short, neat ones. This comes in handy if you ever need to email someone a long Web address. For example, you can convert this URL:

http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=2401+
E+6th+Street,+Austin,+Texas+78702&ie=UTF8&z=15&om=
1&iwloc=A

into this URL:

http://www.tinyurl.com/fhmcl

Both URLs take you to the same place on the Web.
